Our mission is to design sophisticated Men’s button down dress shirt of superior quality that distinguish the man who wears Au Noir. The Au Noir’s vision is to become the most widely recognized brand of high-end shirts in North America.Based in Montreal, Canada, the capital of North American fashion design. Our collection of dress shirts are designed, stylized and developed in-house and then crafted in Turkey. Implementation of cutting edge techniques in the fabrication of our shirts allows Au Noir to be a leader and innovator in the garment industry.

Single or double Punto stitching, invisible or hidden stitch as well as various trade secrets come together to create a detail driven final product.Our fabrics are of the highest quality in their class… we use soft jacquards, 100% woven cottons, and the highest quality cotton sateen both printed and un-printed. Seeing is believing, but at Au Noir touching is knowing.

There are several elements that make an Au Noir shirt an Au Noir shirt, a few of which are our signature embroidery below the cuff as well as above the top button hole inside the face of our shirts. We use a variety of contrast stitch and button colors, as well as leather cuff clasps to add to the intricacies of the final product. Our fold up cuff garnishes, as well as our inner collar and button placket garnishes are always tasteful, yet fun.

Au Noir Men’s premium fashion shirts are made with attention to fit that is second to none… our shirts are fitted to the body but not skin tight, they drape properly over the shoulders and under the arms allowing for flow and freedom of movement.

Each specialty shirt was developed and named for a concept and freedom of thought, Noaz (one of our original core styles) was not just named after my daughters, it was named in the true spirit of Au Noir and the company as whole: Be bold, be daring… Au Noir.
